Melanie Stanford
Hello Bell family! I am Melanie Stanford and I'll be serving as your PTA President for this 2026-2027 school year. I have two wonderful daughters; one will be in fourth grade at Bell and the other is starting her first year of middle school at Navo. We have been a part of the Bell community for the past six years and I am so grateful to be a part of this amazing community!
My professional background is in education and public administration, and for the past two years, I have been a substitute at Bell in addition to being involved with PTA. I’ve loved working with the admin, teachers and students - we have the best people up in that building!
One of my goals for this year is to make our school even better by increasing community and family involvement. Wondering what goes on in your child’s class every day? Come volunteer to read with a small group! Want to get to know the staff? Help out with a teacher appreciation event!
I know PTA sometimes has stereotypes attached to it, but I promise we are all parents just like you that want the best for all the kids at Bell!
Hi, I'm Sarah and I will be the fundraising chair again this year!
This will be our 3rd year at Bell Elementary, but we have been in Paloma Creek since 2020 and in the 380 area since 2014. We are excited to continue to grow our roots here at Bell! My husband and I have a daughter moving into 6th grade at Navo and a son going into 3rd here at Bell. When I am not running my cake business, we enjoy spending time together as a family and with friends and neighbors. We love to play games, watch movies, hangout at sporting events, be in the kitchen together, and soak in all the time we have with our kids before they realize that we aren't cool.
I wanted to be involved in PTA again this year because I have seen how invaluable it has been for Bell this last year. I love that we get to support our teachers, staff, and students, all while building friendships with other parents. The time spent working with these PTA humans is worth it.
My role as the fundraising chair is to plan exciting fundraisers, coordinate spirit nights, manage our passive money raising accounts (like Box Tops, Mabels Labels, and the Get Out pass) as well as supporting our other PTA board members in whatever task they need my assistance with.
Dani Goodwin-Freeney
Hello Bell Community! I’m returning as your PTA Secretary this year! What started as a journey to get to know more about how Bell operates inside the halls has led to my third year on the PTA Board. My oldest son has been at Bell since his Kindergarten year - he’s now in 5th grade! I also have a 2nd grader who attends Martinez Elementary, where I serve as the Advocacy Chair for the PTA. My family and I have lived in Paloma Creek South since 2014, so I remember watching the Bell walls go up, and now we’re celebrating our 10th year! What I love about this school is that it truly feels like the teachers and staff want what’s best for your child. What I love about this PTA Board is that we each do what we can. We’re not what you imagine when you think PTA. What I want for our Bell community and PTA is for more parents to understand how cool we are! Jump in where you can. Some of us only work behind the scenes, if you have a desire to learn more about the school or connect with parents, this is the place to be!
Outside of being a mom and serving on the PTA, I am the Director of the Student Support Services program at Texas Woman’s University. I spend my days supporting first-generation and income-eligible college students as they navigate the challenges of university life. My family and I also attend One Community Church in Prosper, where I support the Kindergarten classroom. I also love coloring and have been (slowly) working my way through a Disney adult coloring book.
Fun Facts About Me: 1) I have a Black Belt in Taekwondo; I haven’t practiced in almost 30 years. 2) I’m working to achieve my Project Management Certification this year. Ask me how it’s going when you see me. It will help me move forward!
I can be an introvert and often feel awkward in social situations, but I’d love to see and meet you! Let’s make this a great year!
Hello, Bell Bobcat families!
My name is Sandi Evans Guin, and I am so excited for another wonderful year at Bell Elementary! This will be my 7th year serving on the Bell Elementary PTA and my 6th year as a board officer. It has truly been a privilege to be part of an organization that helps support our students, staff, and school community.
This year, I'll have two first graders attending Bell, and I couldn't be more excited to watch them continue their journey as Bobcats.
Professionally, I serve as the Assistant Director of Finance for Denton ISD. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work in a variety of roles within our Business Operations Department, and I enjoy using those experiences to help serve our school community through the PTA.
One of the things I love most about being involved with the PTA is the opportunity to build relationships with the incredible teachers, staff, and families who pour into our children every single day. It's so rewarding to be able to give back and play a small part in making Bell a place where every child can thrive during such important formative years.
I'm looking forward to welcoming back all of our returning Bobcat families and can't wait to meet all the new faces joining the Bell family for the first time. Here's to a fantastic school year filled with learning, fun, and community. Go Bobcats!
Zetria Okudjeto
Hi, I’m Zetria — this is our first year as part of the Bell Elementary community, and I’m honored to be serving as your Programs Chair! I have twins in 4th grade, and we’ve already fallen in love with this school and its families.
Professionally, I wear a few hats: I’m a licensed commercial real estate agent, an independent financial professional, and an energy management advisor — plus I serve as Chair of the Education Subcommittee for the Commercial Committee at MetroTex Association of REALTORS®. My background also includes sociology and special needs teaching, which shaped how I approach community work — always education-first and people-centered.
I joined the PTA because I saw a need and wanted to help fill it. Even as a newcomer to Bell, I believe you don’t have to have years of history somewhere to show up and make a difference — sometimes a fresh perspective is exactly what’s needed. As Programs Chair, I’m excited to help build meaningful programming for our students and families this year.
Fun fact: I love playing golf!
Alissa Maul
Hello! My name is Alissa Maul, and I’m honored to serve as Bell Elementary’s VP of Membership and Reflections Chair this year.
This is an exciting and bittersweet year for our family as it marks our first year at Bell Elementary. My fourth grader will be attending Bell after our family spent the past several years at Paloma Creek Elementary following our move to Texas in 2019. During the last two years, I served as Treasurer for the Paloma Creek PTA, and that experience showed me how valuable PTA involvement can be in building connections, strengthening our school community, and supporting our students. As a transplant to Texas, the relationships I’ve built through PTA have been especially meaningful, and they’ve reinforced the idea that it truly takes a village.
One of my favorite PTA programs is the Reflections Arts Program, and I’m excited to help bring this opportunity to Bell students. I love how Reflections encourages creativity, self-expression, and an appreciation for the arts.
Professionally, I serve as Vice President of Global Sales for a hotel management company. My husband and I also have an incoming sixth grader at Navo Middle School. Between work, PTA, competition dance, orchestra, choir, Expo, soccer, the world’s best dog, and all the activities that keep our kids busy, we don’t have many hobbies of our own—but cheering on our children and keeping up with family life keeps us more than busy enough!
I’m looking forward to getting to know more Bell families and serving this wonderful community.
Kristen Coker
Hey everyone! My name is Kristen Coker, and I’ll be the Communications Chair for the 2026-2027 school year. My main goal throughout this adventure is to keep everyone as informed as possible, through our PTA website, social media, newsletters, etc., and hopefully, at least mildly entertained. I strive for our PTA communications this year to really convey the value of PTA membership, the importance of being involved, and most importantly, that PTA is for everyone.
This will be my family’s first year at Bell Elementary, after having been part of the Paloma Creek family since 2020. I have twins going into 4th grade, and two girls going into 6th grade at Navo this year, so I’m looking forward to an exciting year of new challenges and opportunities. Throughout the years, I’ve casually dabbled in PTA activities, such as Room Parent and volunteering here and there. I’m looking forward to serving on the board, because I like being in-the-know as much as possible; and what better way to know what’s going on, than to be the person responsible for informing everyone?!
Outside of PTA and school-mom life, I have a professional background in Operations Management and am continuing to grow my career in supply chain operations and procurement. Every now and then, I like to shut my brain off and go back to my roots. Having been born and raised on the beach (South Padre Island), the ocean is a happy place of mine that I love to share with my kids.
I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for Bobcat families. I’m truly eager to watch our PTA family grow and build a strong community for all the students of Bell Elementary.
Amanda Thomas
I’m excited to be returning to the Bell Elementary PTA for the 2026–2027 school year, this year in my new role as Sponsorships Chair! After serving as Treasurer for the past two years, I’m looking forward to taking on a new challenge and helping bring even more amazing opportunities and experiences to our Bell students and families.
I’m a proud mom of two Denton ISD students. My daughter, Sadie, attended Bell Elementary from Kindergarten through 5th grade and is now an 8th grader at Navo. My son, Jude, is heading into 4th grade at Bell. I’ve been a PTA member since Sadie was in Kindergarten and have loved being part of the Bell family throughout the years.
Outside of being a mom, chauffeur, and family project manager, I spend my days as a Group Account Director at the advertising agency We Are Alexander. I’ve been managing the Keurig Dr Pepper account (previously Dr Pepper Snapple Group) for 16 years and counting.
In my free time, I love to read, watch movies, play games of all sorts (board, card, and video), travel, take care of my puppies and plants, go to concerts, and plan my next Disney trip. I absolutely love being part of the Bell family and am excited to continue supporting our incredible students, teachers, and school through the PTA!
